Ingredients
  

  • 4 4-oz salmon fillets
  • 1 lb fresh asparagus trimmed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the asparagus: Toss asparagus with 1 tbsp olive oil, ¼ tsp salt, and ¼ tsp black pepper. Spread on one side of the baking sheet.
  • Prepare the salmon: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
  • Place salmon fillets on the other side of the baking sheet. Brush the garlic butter mixture over the salmon.
  • Drizzle remaining olive oil over everything and sprinkle with the remaining salt and pepper.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until salmon flakes easily with a fork and asparagus is tender.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
